Timeouts and reversals

If the provider times out during a purchase, Monato returns a PAYEE_TIMEOUT error and queues an automatic reversal job. This keeps the transaction from being left in an inconsistent state.

What you receive

A 422 Unprocessable Entity with the standard error envelope:

What to do

• Do not give your user a gift card for this purchase. You only receive a gift card when every step of the purchase succeeds.
• You do not need to request the reversal. Monato queues it automatically.
